Why Volunteer

Be Part of Something Bigger

Volunteering with YIF means contributing directly to work that matters, supporting communities, strengthening advocacy, and helping build programmes that create real change on the ground.

We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and locations. Most of our volunteer opportunities are remote, though some roles may require in-person presence in Ghana. The kind of support you offer will shape what role is right for you.

We don't always have formal openings, but we keep a warm pipeline of interested volunteers. When opportunities arise, we reach out to people who have already expressed interest. Even if we're not actively recruiting, it's worth getting in touch.
