The JIBITI Archive
A living collection preserving the stories, histories, and creative works of communities across Africa. The Archive exists so our narratives are owned, protected, and told on our own terms.

A Record of Resilience
The JIBITI Archive is a community-driven repository built to preserve what matters most; the lived experiences, creative expressions, and collective histories of the people and communities YIF serves. It is a space where memory is protected, stories are honoured, and access is managed with care.
The Archive is accessible to registered members of the JIBITI Community. Once logged in, members can browse, search, and contribute to a growing collection that spans written work, visual art, research, and documentation.
-
Preserve History Safeguarding the stories and records of communities whose histories are at risk of being erased or silenced.
-
Empower Communities Ensuring the people we serve have ownership over their own narratives and how they are shared.
-
Safe, Managed Access The Archive is a members-only space, access is controlled to protect contributors and the communities they represent.
